He can't really relate, everyone around him knows that he has killed and still is killing people.

(Yes, Crime and Punishment is the only book of Dostoevsky I know.)

fun fact: in the russian localization of the game, Heavy actually sounds smarter, which led fans to believe that Heavy isn't stupid or less intelligent, but rather has problems speaking english = P

Yeaup, I caught that. I watched the Russian version first, as a matter of fact... Either Heavy has a problem with English, or he's just playing dumb so he can laugh silently at the rest of the team.
